Ace Secrets, Does the black ring have to be a plain black ring, or can it have some kind of design on it? I’m trying to remember if I’ve seen any plain black ones on sale near me and I can’t - and buying it online with an account someone else sees is inconvenient.

Typically the ace ring is a simple black band (sometimes hematite), though some aces like to wear rings with a design on - such as an ace of spades, etc. Black rings are commonly found in jewellery/gift shops (I got my first one from a museum gift shop!) and are quite cheap - just keep your eyes open, you’ll be sure to find one.
